Kirsten has been seeing Jake regularly for almost 3 years now, since early in 2022. Towards the end of 2022, he injured his iliopsoas, which can be a very tricky injury, especially for a high-energy agility dog. Kirsten’s excellent care saw him through that, and after several months of intensive treatment and rehab, he came back stronger than ever. Under her guidance, we now keep up a regular conditioning program to keep him strong. He continues to see her for regular checks and tune-ups. He absolutely adores her and just melts as soon as treatment starts. She has kept him in great shape for all his exploits, on and off the agility field. My goal is to have a great agility partner, but also to ensure his comfort even when he retires one day, and Kirsten is supporting us in that goal. She is knowledgeable, professional, patient and kind. Most importantly, as a competing agility handler herself, she knows and understands the needs of her dog sports dogs and humans!
Kirsten came into my life at the beginning of 2022 and she was actually only treating my other mare, Demi, who really hated anything to do with physio/chiropractic work. From the get go Kirsten made a plan to win Demi over and took everything slowly, which resulted in now Demi waiting at her paddock gate every time she sees Kirsten’s car or hears her voice. In the middle of 2022 I got the honour of riding Clair de lune or ,as we call her at home, Lulu who I now own. Lulu is a 17h, 16 year old SAW and not only being tall Lulu is an extremely long horse who held a lot of pain because of her conformation and not having that much muscle. When Kirsten started treating Lulu it was a learning curve for me because i had never ridden a horse that big or long before and now i had to figure out how to build muscle on her as well. Kirsten helped me with so many exercises to get Lulu into the best shape possible and today she looks and feels better than she probably has ,ever in her life. Kirsten is an amazing person and I am so grateful to have a physio that is so caring of my horses , by checking in on them and myself or coming at 7pm at night to tape them before travel. I could not have asked for a better person to treat my horses. Thank you Kirsten for everything you do for me and my fur baby’s ❤️
I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the incredible care Kirsten has provided for my boy Roman. Her expertise and dedication have truly made a difference in keeping my boy fit, healthy, and ready for the rigors of competition. From the moment we started working with Kirsten, it was clear that she possesses not only a deep knowledge of canine physiology but also a genuine passion for helping dogs thrive. Her personalized approach and thoughtful treatments have not only enhanced Roman’s physical condition but also his overall well-being. The improvements we’ve seen in Roman’s performance are a testament to Kirsten’s skill and commitment. She’s gone above and beyond, providing exceptional care and support every step of the way. Thank you, Kirsten, for your unwavering dedication and for making such a positive impact on my boy’s life and career. We can’t reach out goals without you!
Kirsten is an amazing physio and our little girl absolutely adores her!! I firmly believe Kirsten plays a major roll in why Lilly is doing so well...against all odds. Kirsten has been there every step of the way and I am positive we will keep defying the odds!!
Kirsten played an instrumental role in my boy Duke's recovery journey after his operation to correct his elbow displaysia. We recently had his one year follow up at the specialist and he even mentioned the positive impact working with Kirsten has had in Duke's recovery. After each session we get a detailed report and updated exercise program that we follow between sessions - truly setting pet parents up for success. Duke is now just over 1 year post op and knowing his risk profile, she has incorporated exercises making sure he is as strong as possible to delay and relief any symptoms like arthritis down the line. Kirsten is extremely knowledgeable, and so helpful and quick to respond to any follow up questions after and between sessions. Duke is a BUSY boy and Kirsten has been amazing with him. He absolutely loves when she comes to visit him for his "massages".
Kirsten has been Choice’s physio for two years now. She took the time to discuss his progress after every session. After every session we received a detailed report on problems found progress made and exercises that were needed to continue his recovery. Her patience with both her patients and their owners is what stood out most of all. Kirsten thank you for everything you do keeping Choice in tip top form. We appreciate you!
I cannot recommend Kirsten enough for anyone seeking exceptional care for their pets. Our beloved dog, Bobby, has undergone two IVDD surgeries over the past two years, and thanks to Kirsten's unparalleled expertise, dedication, and compassion, Bobby has made a full recovery. Kirsten’s treatments, support, and guidance have been instrumental in restoring Bobby’s mobility and quality of life. Her genuine love for animals is evident in every session, and it’s heartwarming to see Bobby's excitement whenever he knows he’s about to see her. We are incredibly grateful for all that Kirsten has done and continues to do for Bobby. Her commitment to his well-being has made a world of difference. If you’re looking for a veterinary physiotherapist who combines skill with heartfelt care, Kirsten is truly exceptional. Highly recommended!
